Yes, I'm still here! Just had a mad couple of months having to move down to London, going back to Hong Kong (see previous post), starting my new job at Fujitsu and splitting up with Chris...

But funilly enough, I am having an abosultely amazing time in London. Guess this is the closest I will get to 'home' for the forseeable future. Am missing HK loads at the minute but living with Lexi makes it so much easier. She cooks the most amazing food. Paresha has competition now hehe.

I really enjoy my new role and work with some really intelligent people. There's so much that I can learn from them and vice versa I guess. My office is on Baker Street, just a minute from Selfridges so if anyone is down in London and wants to meet up for a quick lunch then let me know. I will do a proper post when I get some pix.

HONG KONG

It's so nice to be home. Hong Kong will always be home to me although it feels more like a vacation these days. I've spent so much money on buying stuff I need for work and shoes!!!! mmmmmmm, shoes!!!!! Have been stuffing my face with lots of yummy food and enjoying the crap Cantopop as usual. Paresha seems to be enjoying herself. She's trying to stop herself from buying too much. She's already 12kg over her allowance hmmmmmmm. Been here a week but am heading back to the UK in just over three days. Here's some eye candy, enjoy!

LONDON

So I've finally moved to London... *sigh* Missing my boi and Manchester lots but I'm pretty excited about my new job which has been awesome so far. Heading to Hong Kong for Thursday (17th) and only staying till the 28th but Chris could only get two weeks off so what can you do! So I've moved in with Lexi who has just graduated with a 1st! She's in the midst of landing a funky job somewhere in central London. The flat is totally amazing and the views are to die for. I'll post pics of the flat when I've got time. I'm actually in a coffee shop in Manchester with really slow Wifi at the min so uploading pix is a total nightmare! I'm still a bit pissed that we can't take hand luggage on flights from the UK now... Think I'll leave my Powerbook in London, not risking putting it in the hold. Ha! Am really looking forward to going home! It'll be nice to come back to London though as poor Lexi is going to be home alone with her Ferrets! hehe.

Views from the flat:

^ Canary Wharf View

^ City View

The Wifi in this cafe is so slow!!!!! Going to have to post more pix later when I've got a decent connection.

BARCELONA

It's been a while since my previous update (no surprise there). I've had the most hectic month due to preparing for my move from Manchester to London. Found a gorgeous flat on the banks of the Thames with great views of Canary Wharf and the City. Will elaborate on that in a future post (probably after I've moved in). I'm moving in with Lexi which is going to be totally awesome!

I won't bore all of you with my mundane work life but will post pretty piccies up instead for the less literate. Chris and I decided to have a long weekend break somewhere in Europe so we decided to head to Barcelona. Fortunately Chris has visited Barca 4 times previously so he was a bit of an expert, or so I thought! We stayed in a very swanky hotel in Pobelnou on the beach. We had a great sea view and the weather was hot and sunny for our entire stay. Over our four day stay we managed to see pretty much everything and got some great video and photos. Will edit the video as quickly as I/Chris can and post it on here. The architecture inspired by Gaudi in Barcelona was amazing although I wasn't very impressed with the more modern stuff although Torre Agbar (The Gherkin's cousin although done by a different architect) was extremely impressive. Food on the other hand was so so but relatively affordable. I'd definitely visit again since it's such a laid back city. Enjoy the pix!

Summer's Here

The sun decided to shine on the sh*t-tip of an island that we've all grown to love so we decided to trek over to a pretty cool beach in Liverpool. Was 28 degrees which is pretty good for this time in the year so I managed to get a pretty good tan (yay!). Most of the boys were out and Jemma was up for the weekend.

Had a great time chillin' on the beach, guess we don't get the sun that much over here *rolls eyes* so we make the best out of it! Also thought that we'd avoid the scallies in Manc/Liverpool since the England game was on. The beach was surprisingly empty which was just what we needed!

Anyone up for some eye candy (sorry, no nudes!):

^ Keeks gazing at the summer sky

^ Clear skies for most of the day

^ Me, Chris, Jemma

^ Bit of fauna and Mags!

^ Mmmmm nice bit of texture

^ Gary the midget and Super-Keeks
